The Boiler Kitchen is a live streaming Drum & Bass channel established in 2016, based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada, in association with Elm Imprint & Digital. The host and founder Special Ed commissioned me to make an updated version of my Red Lion for him. My original lion illustration was a part of the Elm Imprint collection, which is where we met.
He wanted a mix of classic decorative poster signage and graffiti lettering for his DJ moniker. It was a challenge to revisit an old illustration in order to redesign it to match the personality of Boiler Kitchen brand.

This was one of the first project that was almost start to finish done with Procreate.
